On September 9th at 5:00 pm, join the Citizens’ Unity Commission at Cinèbristro for “Movie and A Mic.” Come out and watch “Lee Daniels’ -- The Butler” and afterwards participate in a discussion on politics, class and culture in America. The film focuses on an African-American who eyewitnesses notable events of the 20th century during his tenure as a White House butler. The film is based on the real-life account of Eugene Allen, who served as a White House butler for 8 American presidents from 1952 to 1986. The deadline to RSVP is August 30th at 3:00pm.
