Optimizing Planetary Image Resolution Many customers I have - TopicsExpress

Optimizing Planetary Image Resolution Many customers I have spoken to over the years I have worked at OPT have seemed confused by the process of determining the right imaging resolution to maximize the detail they are able to resolve in their planetary images. Local seeing – referring to the short term stability of the air – certainly provides an upper limit on detail, but as planetary CCD and CMOS cameras get faster it has become more possible to find those short moments of time where the atmosphere is still and allows the resolution of large amounts of detail with moderate equipment. ow.ly/zhsU3
