Took time to pass through the Big Major Oworian Crusade in Eldoret yesterday and it was interesting to observe that most of the Buses were from Western, Nyanza and the Rift valley especially the North Rift. However there were very many of my relatives from Mt Kenya. I could hear them talk and you could tell that in a short while they had mastered the code language. They even knew how to greet, etc! Some even dressed like the faithfuls with long dresses and headscarf! For them it was an excellent opportunity for business. They must have a made a killing by selling umbrellas, Jackets, food, whistles, vuvuzelas etc. The interesting one am told was one a Mr. Njoroge- not his real name who dug a pit latrine and was charging 30bob per call!! I love this enterprising spirit from Mt Kenya!
