47 percent of black single mothers in America live in poverty. Only 11 percent of married black women with children live in poverty. I dont blame the women. When a man leaves the relationship he takes his income with him. The children are counted against the household of the mother. The mans income doesnt make it back to the mother. The children grow up in poverty. So when a black man in America leaves his woman and child there is an almost 50 percent chance that the woman and child will live in poverty. These women aint fighting for child support for fun. Theyre trying to survive.
