Artist I was given: Van Halen Do I listen to their music: truthfully? not much anymore...but they were a huge force in the 80s and I did grow up on them in the Okanagan sunshine: Daves high kicks, and the Ice Cream Truck, and Eddies wicked smile and ridiculous guitar talent. Favourite album: Honestly? cant say I have one...but their debut album was a complete punch in the face for 11 year old me (after my parents Bob Dylan and Beatles albums) so along with Aerosmith, it was kinda ...whoah! Favourite song: Jump. Because it ALWAYS makes me super happy when I hear it, no matter where I am, in an elevator, bank lineup via muzak, or completely random, I still cant sit still - it is THAT good even with that shitty synth.(second fave is Jamies cryin and a big shout out to Beth Baer!!) Ever see them perform live? without dating myself too much, yes, a long time ago, in a venue very far away (Seattle) that doesnt even exist anymore. But I had I had a really good time 1984 and it was awesome. I think. Like this and Ill give you an artist.
