Been a busy and exciting time for everyone who cares about MND. The Ice Bucket Challenge has really raised awareness of the disease and over £6 million for the MNDA. Hopeful that this can bring the breakthrough that we have all been hoping for. Andrew Ned Cullen has also had a new surge of fame, his ice bucket challenge went viral (probably because everyone could see his pants ;) and his interview with Ruth Jones led to an amazing 4 page feature in the Stamford Mercury on Friday. Links below in case you missed it. https://youtube/watch?v=ct_E3baYeE8 On the Fundraising front - Team Ned 2014 ( Charlotte Newby Caroline Hartley Rachel Bush Tracey Ricardson, Jo Evans, Sally Ijioma, Gerry Onyett and me) walked the 26 mile 6 Dale Challenge on Saturday in a very respectable sub 11 hours. They raised a more than respectable £5000 for the MNDA. Brilliant!! Thank you to everyone who supported us to achieve this fantastic amount. This weekend Susie Richards has organised a charity skydive with several jumping for MNDA. So more awareness and funds are being raised. Looking forward, Heather Cullen and the Crafternooners are having another Christmas Craft stall and Orla Cali is have a Vintage Stall. We also hope to have another quiz and Detonators gig this side of Christmas
