Chipolopolo captain Christopher Katongo says while there is need to infuse new players into the Chipolopolo squad,it is important not to throw away experience. Katongo says when the going gets tough on the pitch it is the experienced ones that can help to absorb the pressure. Yes it is good to have new players but it is also good to have experienced players on the pitch.When things are tough the experienced players will always absorb the pressure and help to normalize the situation said the 2012 Afcon Winning captain. And Jacob Mulenga is now the only foreign based player that is yet to join camp.James Chamanga, Emmanuel Mbola, Emmanuel Mayuka, Nathan Sinkala, Kennedy Mweene and Stopilla Sunzu all joined camp yesterday. The Chipolopolo are scheduled to depart for Niger on Thursday.
