Escape TO Alcatraz. I heard from a friend yesterday that St Catherines island was open at weekends to the public. For those of you who have been to Tenby before then they will have undoubtedly seen the island just off Tenby. When we first came to live in Pembrokeshire 2 years ago I didnt know what the island was called hence I called it Alcatraz!!!!. The fort on the island wasnt open today but as of April it should be - definitely worth a visit. Hope you like the pictures - taken on my mobile phone as my camera is broken. The picture of the 2 guys on the bridge is of Mark and Harry and yes, Mark is wearing shorts. The small sailing boats are the Welsh sailing team training.
