I was going to wait on the Media Launch of Grenada Carnival but it was Pushed back from April 22nd to April 29th and again to May 5th and this GRIPING meh Belly.... Where is the Early Launch? 3 dates sofar and that is ONLY the MEDIA launch...NOT the Launch of carnival....... Anywayssssss........ I understand there will be $150 Thousand dollar Trinidad Launch of Grenada Carnival real soon..... Can we Afford it? how many Trinidadians did we attract last year with the launch and how were they distributed? did any play mass with Lazarus Antoine and Associates or Andre garvey and Associates? St. Pauls and Associates ?or even Helen Marie and Associates ? Can we justify spending 150 thousand dollars to attract under 200 persons to our premiere event?...why NOT take that 150 thousand dollars and add a 20 thousand to our prize winners....Pan, Mass, Soca, Calypso, Jab Jab, Road? And if were going .....are we going down with a contingent of our Winners? to showcase what Grenada has to offer? or do we intend to get some BLUE jab Jab again this year? (rumour has it that SLUM buying his ticket to go Trinidad for the launch because he LOVE to play Jab Jab)...so this year if allyou do decide to throw that money away/Pay allyou Dues..... i expect to see a Launch Featuring Boyzie (Soca Monarch and Road Winner), Blaka Dan...our Groove Champion, We had Queen? No.... Band of the Year..Andre Garvey and Associates, King of the Band..Lazarus Antoine and Associates, and Queen of the Band from St. Pauls and Associates.... Katura George...Belting out a Calypso,...i would expect NO LESS.... But anywhos...... I am ONLY a Carnival Lover/Masquerader...and i Cyaan wait for the Calypso tents / BOIS Season to open, for Sargeant Folks to MASHUP the Soca Yard, and for Carnival Monday and Tuesday to Be the MINISTER of ROAD...... Ohhhh BTW....ah hear one of the ways they plan to lure the TRINIDADIANS here to play Mass is to allow them to pay a registration fee and wear their Trini costume on OUR ROADS.... Can u Imagine ME... Janice Brandon Mother Augustine Jumping in Tribe wid meh Andre Garvey and Associates Costume in 2015.....Ah Bawl when ah Hear Dat......
