Field Worker (Head Lettuce & Romaine/Romaine Hearts) Foothill Packing, Inc. seeks 125 temporary Field Workers (Head Lettuce & Romaine/Romaine Hearts) to harvest head lettuce & romaine/romaine hearts in fields located in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties, California. Contract period is from April 6, 2014 through November 15, 2014. Wage offered of the highest of $11.01/hr or applicable piece rates depending on crop activities. 3/4 of the work hrs guaranteed. Tools & equipment are provided at no cost to the worker. Free housing is provided to workers unable to return to their permanent residence at the end of the work day. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be provided/paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract or earlier.
