Finally reached Leh today at 10 in the morning. Its too cold here and the wind is piercing as if arrows. Temperature at nights is falling down to -10 degree. Staying at Atisha Guest House and perhaps I am among the last 4 travelers left in Atisha Gueat House, rest 2 are from Germany and 1 from Canada. The Guest house is surrounded by many snow capped peaks. I have lost all network connections; neither of my 4 SIMs functioning here. Tourist season is over and snow is lying just 50 mts above. This is for the first time in my life that I am experiencing -10 in real life; before i have experienced -10 in deep freezer of my refrigerator. It was surprising to see a Satellite Office of LIC at Leh. I went there and met Br. Manager Mr. I. Singh who is so nice and cooperative as every LICian are. I slept all the day to get acclimatized to 11500 feet. I have to leave now because all shops in the main market are closed already except this Cyber Cafe. Hope to travel Nubra Valley the day after tomorrow if the weather is clear. My stay at Ghaziabad was so pleasing and comfortable because of my childhood friend Raj Kumar Singh, Nibha Sinha and their most lovable angel Mithi (sweet). I will always remember the time spent with them.
