Got a call the other day from a property manager that whenever his client used the oven the breaker would trip. The first electrical contractor came out and looked at the panel and told him everything looked fine and that it was probably the oven. So now I get the call for the nuisance tripping. I investigate the kitchen sub panel whic has the: microwave, oven, insta hot, bathroom lights and a electric fireplace and some general lighting. This a 60 amp panel, so I turn the oven on and the lights start to dim, so I said take me to the main panel. And low and behold this is what I find in the main panel that is being fed from a 2 pole 20a breaker of the 50 amp Briggs & Stratton generator transfer panel. I just have to really scratch my head at what people will do sometimes. Lol
