Israel Community Meeting with Eli Herb When: Tonight! Mon, August 4, 6:30pm – 8:30pm Description: We are all feeling it – the pain, grief, vulnerability, fear, and anger about the fighting going on in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank. Let us come together to share our deep concerns about this terrible situation. Hebrew College student rabbi, Eli Herb, will help us to create a safe and respectful place to share with each other. We invite everyone from our community: Jewish and non-Jewish, and ALL backgrounds and political views. Please come and share in this expression of community and mutual support during this very difficult time. If you have 1-2 articles that, in your view, capture the essence of the conflict or communicate an aspect you feel is particularly important, or tell a vital story related to this current crisis, please make copies for sharing with others. This event will also mark the end of our drive to raise funds for the Magen David Adom (the Israeli Red Cross which serves ALL people in Israel and the West Bank and provides ambulance service for injured Gazans being transported to Israeli hospitals). Please give generously! Coffee and Dessert to be provided.
