LYRICS ~Minnie Ripperton~ Stumbled on this photograph, it kind of made me laugh, it took me way back, back down memory lane. I feel the happiness, I feel the pain, where am I, Im back down memory lane. I see us standing there, such a happy, happy pair, love beyond compare, look-a-there, look-a-there. The way you held me, no one could tell me that love would die, ohh, why??? did I have to find this photograph, thought I had forgot the past, and now Im slippin fast, oh, back down memory lane. I feel the happiness, I feel the pain, thought it was over, but here I go again. I posted this to make a valid point: IT IS BETTER TO HAVE LOVED THAN NOT TO HAVE LOVED IT ALL!! why?? because it is the pain and heartbreak from carnal love that GOD teaches us that we are not to love no one or no thing more than Him. Have a love affair with GOD and yourself because He teaches us what true love is and that true love never dies. Thats deep. It is the bitter venom that runs through our veins from resentment and hatred that makes ones life miserable. Whether youre grieving from death of a loved one, rejection from a loved one, or even betrayal from a loved one, we are to still WALK in LOVE. Give yourself time to heal, then love again, only the next time youre stronger, wiser, and better, oh so much more the better. Amen. .
