Mostly to my friends and family I never see, I went to Bobcat Day at TxState this Saturday and after doing a little exploration of the campus, followed by some good information from several students and music department representatives, I realized that I would really enjoy attending there. I will still be auditioning for UTSA, TxSt and TLU in the spring for sure. I am still on the Music Education Degree track. In other news, I will be attending Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps eXperience camp Nov. 29th-Dec. 1st. At this camp I will either be offered a contract, told to continue to the next camp with a contract opportunity, or told to try again next season. I will have to wait and see what God has for my future, but I know whatever happens, I will always be in over my head with things to do. Which is where honestly, I like to be. Choir has been going really well, we performed for the CISD School Board on Veterans day, and have a few Christmas events coming up in December. If youd like to come, message me for the details. Dec. 2nd I have my Region Band audition which I have been preparing for since August, I will keep you posted with results. I have been playing guitar with the band, and countless other jobs at North Shore UMC for about 9 months now, and I have been blessed out of my mind with the amount of opportunities that have been given to me there musically.
