NPC-PCWATs Bantay Watershed Task Force (BWTF) volunteers held its Operation and Water Impounding Concrete Tank Inauguration last December 23, 2014 at Brgy. Conversion, Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija. A total of thirteen (13) volunteers, including Brgy. Conversion Councilor Elmer Barcena, participated the said event. Highlights of the event include fireline construction in the 25 Has. Refo Plantation at So. Salvacion, Brgy. Conversion as part of the operation. During the inauguration event, the volunteers also put chicken blood in the water tank. It is a traditional rite done in newly constructed buildings as a sign of stability. Finally, NPC-PCWAT, lead by Sr. WMS Fortunato S. Serquina, awarded a Christmas gift to the volunteers from So. Salvacion who helped suppressed a wild fire in the area last March, 2014.
