Nebo Nugget @ Noonday “It Starts With the Heart” Good afternoon. I hope you’re having a fantastic Friday. What can we do to best help the younger generations??? Well, I believe “It Starts With the Heart.” We must have a heart to help, and we must strive to help them get the right stuff in their heart. Jesus said in Matthew 12:34b-35 “… for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.” Also, Psalm 119:11 says “Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee,” and verse 16 says “I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy Word.” Indeed, “It Starts With the Heart.” We must get the Word in every child’s heart beginning at infancy if possible. If we want to see crime go down, then youth bible studies, youth ministries, youth retreats, youth mentoring in churches after school, etc. must go up!!! When their parents won’t bring them, we must try to figure out a way to bring them. Finally, the late great Frederick Douglass said “It is easier to build stronger children than it is to repair broken men.” Have an awesome afternoon and a blessed Labor Day weekend, John A.
