OK, just had to share this. The night before last, I was outside around 10:45 PM, getting things ready for when I get up in the morning, making sure I pull any left over food from my colonies in the back of my place (have 3 stations now), when I hear my name called out and it is a rather large gentlemen from the front of the Park, with a net in his hands. He told me he caught this and while he does not like them, he could not kill an animal. So I look down and it is a baby possum! The possum was not too little, was just big enough to make it out on its own, so I took some kibble in hand and told the man to come on and follow me. I have a large black drain pipe I put in my back yard by some bushes to help the cats when being chased by coyotes, and I through into the pipe the kibble and took the net and told the little guy to go on in have a snack and get acclimated to decide what it wanted to do next. LOL, and so with a bit of persuasive force it went into the tube and the man said thanks. So when I saw this I just had to think of that little one, such a cutie in its own way.
