Wisconsin Wolf Front Statement of Intention The question gets raised, how do we fight back and save wolves and wildlife from the current senseless slaughter being undertaken against them by hunters and trappers and facilitated by corrupt and misguided government officials? These interests are very well funded, but what REALLY is their secret to success? UNITY! They work together in advancing their agenda so government listens. WE SUPPORT UNITY AND WILL STAND WITH, WORK WITH AND SUPPORT ANY INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP THAT SUPPORTS A PRO-WOLF, PRO-WILDLIFE, ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION AGENDAS AND SUPPORTS NATIVE AMERICAN TREATY RIGHTS.. So what can be done now? In Wisconsin we are: *Engaged in a statewide comprehensive K-12 school education campaign. We developed extensive curriculum on many wolf,wildlife and environmental related topics. WE HAVE SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERED 341 PROGRAMS since May 2013. We have partnered with 24 schools and twelve universities as well since June 2013. *We have developed, trained and dispatched 5 Road Teams to 52 public events throughout Wisconsin since July 2013. For more on our Road Teams, email a request for information to wiwolffront@gmail -Our Road Teams successfully launched, conducted and released a 6,000 Wisconsin citizen poll on the use of hounds to hunt wolves. -Our Road Teams this summer are engaged in a huge petition drive to change how organizations are appointed to the Wisconsin DNR Wolf Advisory Committee (as of 8-12-14, they have gathered 11,121 signatures). -Over 2 summers our Road Teams have given out 19, 433 fliers on wolf conservation. -We have engaged in 4 street protests since 2013. *We have created, endorsed and stand by the new Wolf Conservation Political Action Committee which is launching officially next month as its own organizational unit. This will give wolf supporters finally an avenue to hire a professional lobbying firm and craft legislation in the fight to save wolves. This will give wolf supporters the same voice finally as the hunting-trapping interests have in state government. This is a strong 3 pronged attack that will help to save wolves, wildlife, the environment and to support our Native American brothers and sisters.
