So the story shall begin.....if I can explain it as well as it was passed down to me....this will take many posts so please bear with me as I search my feeble and overwhelmed mind for the facts(?) figures and such.....please dont get this post confused with that of the new Discovery Series on the Olympic Peninsula.....no this is mine and alone....well sorta at least it was told to me...or did I dream it? Maybe drug induced....nah...quit that long ago....might be a flashback though.....could be....oh well here goes! The vast Olympic Peninsula of Washington State is probably the least explored and tread upon by humans of all the contiguous United States! ( ah contiguous....now that is a word if I ever saw one!) There are places of pure wonderment and creatures and beings that only folklore speaks of....but yes many are true and there is a purpose for all this. This place of mystery hold many master craftsmen and women. They can envision, form, design and create almost anything out of wood, stone and plant fiber that you can think of and those you havent. This has been going on almost since the creation....well a little sabbatical here and there for floods, ice age and such.....but it has been a long time. You thought that the Santa Claus had all those toys made at the North Pole.....nah.....those elves are more like the folks that work at Amazon on the floor....sorting and such. How about those wooden pulleys, spoons and ladles....and baseball bats.....well no not them. We will get into this and more much later.......for those of you that have never been here....look at these few photos and imagine for those of us who live here.....you all know what I mean....you may not believe....YET...but perhaps later as the story progresses!
