So weve all been seeing these Farming Ban commercials right? I thought it seemed so far fetched that we would actually have to vote on this, I mean, why the hell would we ban farming? Of course after doing my own research I found that this is not a Farming Ban, its a GMO ban! Its crazy how this Pro-GMO group, who call themselves Citizens Against the Maui County Farming Ban, have twisted the wording of this initiative to assist in their support for Monsanto. Before we head to the polls on November 4th, lets get a little better acquainted with this initiative. The bill would specifically ban the cultivation of genetically modified crops until the county studies their impact on human and environmental health.
