The cold front is quickly approaching the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandle, as it just recently swept through Dodge City, Kansas in the last half hour. Expect strong, gusty northeasterly winds behind this front of 20-30mph with gusts up and over 40mph. Much colder air will move in behind this front. The front will be through the Oklahoma Panhandle by 10 PM, Amarillo and the Interstate 40 corridor by 1 AM, and the entire Texas Panhandle by 3 AM. Some light snow showers and freezing drizzle can be expected as it moves through, but little to no accumulation is expected.
