Via Mirror Luis Suarez is planning to cut short his summer break to force his departure from Liverpool. The Uruguayan striker remains determined to quit Anfield this summer and wants to meet with boss Brendan Rodgers and chief executive Ian Ayre for showdown talks once the Confederations Cup is over. Suarez will be given four weeks off to recharge his batteries once Uruguay’s fate in the tournament in Brazil is known . But he is seeking to meet with the Anfield hierarchy immediately in a bid to force through his summer departure to Real Madrid. But Suarez feels that the chance to join a club of Madrid’s stature cannot be wasted. Liverpool players who aren’t involved in international duty report back for training on July 2. Suarez will use that as an opportunity to tell Rodgers to his face that he wants to quit the club. Publicly, Liverpool have said that they expect Suarez to honour the remaining three years of the £120,000-a-week contract that he signed last summer. But inside the club there is a realisation that it will be impossible to keep the 26-year-old if he continues to agitate for a move. Kop
