YOU ARE NOT ALONE. . . The Hall of Faith Chapter (Hebrews 11) - TopicsExpress

YOU ARE NOT ALONE. . . The Hall of Faith Chapter (Hebrews 11) which is a record of a some of those Saints whose faith were sorely and severely tested, was strategically placed before the writers clarion call to the rest of us in Hebrews 12:2 to run with patience the race that is set before us. Why though? Was it because we needed to be aware of Gods power to save us? I rather think not. The Scriptures, both the Old and the New are filled to overflow with instances which both declare and demonstrate the awesome power of God and his ability to come through on our behalf. No, the Hall of Faith chapter was placed there for an altogether different reason; a reason that addresses more precisely one of Satans most formidable ploys he uses against us as we encounter setbacks along our race. its called isolation! Beloved, Satan loves to make us feel that whatever it is that we are going through, we are all alone; that the experience is unique to us. God however, wants us to know that WE ARE NOT ALONE and our experience is not unique to us. Others have experienced what we are now going through. And guess what? Just as they were able to go through it, so too will we be able to go through ours - and you yours! With that thought in mind Peter writes; Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you. (1 Peter 4;12)So I urge you therefore, to run on!! When, not if you fall, get back up, dust yourself off, and continue your race. And while you are running, be not weary in well-doing for in due season, you shall reap if you faint not. (Galatians 6:9) Be blessed!
