A young un-neutered male cat was brought into the care of the Sarnia Humane Society in the evening of Sunday, February 2nd 2014. This beautiful boy has sustained 17 pellet shots to the head, was severely dehydrated and malnourished. He was immediately transported to Blue Cross Animal Hospital where he was examined, and put on an IV drip to help get him hydrated and administer pain medication. Joe as we have affectionately called him, will need to kept comfortable for the next few days to help him gain his strength before he undergoes surgery to remove the pellets. Joe will also lose one of his eyes due to the trauma inflicted by one of the pellets. Donations to assist Joe will be accepted through our Wandas Wish Fund to help cover the medical costs for Joe which will be extensive. Joe was found on Lakeshore Road in Brights Grove just west of Brigden Road by Mike Weir Park and we are asking anyone who has information concerning this case to call...
