Shabana FC completed the 2014 National Super League (NSL) Zone B season on a high, beating Naivasha based Finlays Horticulture 2 – 0 in the league match played at the gusii Stadium on Sunday 9 November. The hosts settled it early with a successfully converted penalty from Sunday Mutuku on the second minute after Andrew Mbwabi’s handball in the box and on 34 minutes Francis Occholla’s header doubled their advantage. Injury concerns The only concern the Kisii side will have after the match are the injuries to key men Cornelius Juma who had to be withdrawn in the first half after being elbowed in the back by Kevin Omondi in an aerial battle. Francis Ocholla, scorer of the second goal was also pulled out after he came out worse in a collision with Finlays keeper Ali Ramadhan in the second half.
