What do you think are the hardest words are to say and to mean? Some would say that those words would be, I love you. Or, Im sorry. Arguably both are great contenders. However, my bet would be on, I need help. There are so many things in life we ALL need help with, in our personal and professional lives, but those words dont come easily. Im guessing pride has a lot to do with it, or shame, or even the attitude of fake it until you make it. But with all of these aforementioned reasons, the person we are being LEAST HONEST with, is ourselves. It is wonderful to really try our hardest. However, there comes a time when we realize, we really do need help and we cant carry the task or life circumstance alone...whatever it may be. It is at those times, we need to be clear with ourselves, asking for help does NOT INDICATE FAILURE, it indicates we are being honest with ourselves and want to be the best versions of ourselves, but we need someones help to get there. The reward is great. And guess what? I can almost guarantee you will be called upon in turn from someone else who needs YOU. In those moments, please, return the favor.
